AP Top 25: Florida Gators, FSU and USF all drop

The Florida Gators dropped five spots to No. 22.



A rough weekend for Florida college football played out Tuesday in the latest polls.

Florida State, Florida and USF all dropped in the latest AP Top 25. FSU fell seven spots, all the way to 10th, after a 24-7 loss to No. 1 Alabama and the injury to quarterback Deondre Francois.

The Gators dropped five spots (to No. 22) - one behind USF, which was bumped down two places.

Miami, however, rose two spots to No. 16.

‘Bama stayed at No. 1, followed by Ohio State, Clemson, Penn State and Oklahoma. Here are the full results.

In USA Today's coaches' poll, FSU fell six spots to No. 9. The Gators had the biggest drops, tumbling from 16th to No. 24. USF rose one spot (to No. 20), and Miami is up one (to No. 17).
