Florida Gators' Mike White named SEC coach of the year

The Florida Gators' Mike White has been named the SEC's basketball coach of the year, the conference announced Tuesday.

White, who led UF to 24 regular-season wins, has previously been the coach of the year for the WAC and Conference USA during his time at Louisiana Tech.

Guard KeVaughn Allen earned first-team all-SEC honors by leading UF in scoring (13.9 ppg), and Canyon Berry was the league's sixth man of the year, thanks to his 12.5 points per game.

Guard Kasey Hill was on the all-SEC second team and its all-defensive team. He has averaged 9.6 points, 4.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
