Watch the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer during Monday Night Football, or 'avoid it' like its director says

A new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi will premiere tonight during Monday Night Football on ESPN, although director Rian Johnson isn't sure if he wants you to watch it.

Johnson took to Twitter to comment on the first full trailer, saying, "If you want to come in clean, absolutely avoid it."

Does that mean there's some kind of big plot reveal coming in the new trailer?

The eighth installment in the main Star Wars story is set to hit theaters on Dec. 15, featuring the first significant screen time for Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker in decades (he had a brief cameo in 2015's The Force Awakens), and the final appearance of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.

Advance tickets for the movie will go on sale at the same time when the trailer premieres during halftime of the game between the Vikings and Bears.

Check back here, and we'll post the full trailer to watch online once it premieres.
