UPDATE, 12:01: Maddon says Luke Scott (left hamsting tightness) still on track for Monday return, OF Sam Fuld (right hamstring tightness) for end of next week. ... Maddon said evaluations for decision-making won't start in earnest until around 3/15. ... Also that he feels like spring training should be almost over, was surprised to read Friday was only the halfway point. ... Tough challenge for prospect OF Wil Myers playing leftfield here, with the Hooters girls on the foul-line and the Frenchy's tiki bar behind him.

DEVELOPING: The Rays are in Clearwater today to face the Phillies.


RHP Jeff Niemann, competing to keep a spot in the rotation, will start and RHP Jeremy Hellickson will pitch in relief.

Most  of the bigger name players are not on the trip, thought top OF prospect Wil Myers is starting in leftfield.
