DEVELOPING: The Rays are up early today for the annual Patriots' Day matinee game on Marathon Monday in Boston, first pitch at 11:05 a.m.

This is the fourth time in eight years, and fifth overall, the Rays have played in Boston for this event.

The last time they were here was in 2013, when just as they were packing up to leave the clubhouse there were reports of explosions at the finish line area.

Here are the memories of some of the Rays, as well as my own, from Sunday's Times.

And here is a link to even more, from Evan Longoria, Alex Cobb and TV analyst Brian Anderson, on our Rays Tales podcast.

LHP Blake Snell starts for the Rays today, excited that his first start at Fenway will be on such an exciting day. Knuckleballer Steven Wright will be on the mound for the Red Sox.
