UPDATE, 5:21: Lucas Duda was scratched from the Rays lineup due to a left thumb contusion though it's not clear how or when it happened. Trevor Plouffe will play 1B tonight and bat 6th, with Brad Miller moving up to the No. 2 slot Duda was in.

DEVELOPING: Having been shutout in three of their last four games - and limited to two runs in the other - the Rays will try again tonight to get their bats going as the face the AL East leading Red Sox and RHP Rick Porcello.

RHP Jake Odorizzi will be on the mound for the Rays in his first start since a short DL stint that he said calmed a strain in his back and will now allow him to throw the ball where he wants to.
