Paul Manafort no longer represented by former Jeb Bush lawyer Reg Brown
Reg Brown, once deputy counsel to Gov. Jeb Bush, has been immersed in some of the biggest action in Washington this year.
He represented Rex Tillerson during his confirmation hearings (remember the Marco Rubio drama and then Rubio voting for Tillerson?). Lately, Brown has represented the beleaguered Paul Manafort.
Until now. Brown's firm, WilmerHale, is no longer representing Manafort.
Manafort is opting for Miller and Chevalier, which Politico deems “a boutique firm in Washington that specializes in complicated financial crimes.”
Harvard and Yale-educated Brown is chair of WilmerHale’s financial institutions group and leads the firm’s congressional investigations practice, according to his bio.
