Gentle yoga classes: The Tarpon Springs Recreation Department is offering a new 45-minute yoga class, which incorporates traditional Chinese holistic health exercises and somatic exercises into yoga stretching and breathing. Boot camp: The Tarpon Springs Recreation Department is offering a boot camp program for adults looking for an exercise class with calisthenics, weight training, running and an emphasis on the individual's exercise goals. The class is offered from 6 to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday in the Tarpon Springs Gymnasium, 400 S Walton Ave. The first class is free, then the cost is $33.21 per month for nonresidents. Adult day care: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at CARES Claude Pepper Senior Center, 6640 Van Buren St., New Port Richey. Licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration to provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, activities, and nurse monitoring. Charges are based on the level of care needed and are discussed at the time of admission. Call (727) 844-3077.
