School menus

Elementary breakfasts

Elementary breakfasts are called Sunrise Packs, and each features a main item that contains a combination of grains and/or protein, plus a choice of low-fat milk, and a choice of a fresh fruit or 100 percent fruit juice. Choices include the following:

Snack Pack: Snack-like choices including muffins, Pop-Tarts and cereal bars.

'Moove' Pack: Yogurt with or without Elf Grahams.

Bowl Pack: A variety of whole-grain, reduced-sugar cereals with or without Elf Grahams.

Hot pack: Hot options like pancakes, breakfast pizza or sandwiches.

Elementary lunches

All elementary school lunches include an entree, a milk choice, a fruit choice (including 100 percent fruit juice), and a choice of two vegetable options. Peanut butter and jelly available daily.

Monday: Backyard" burger; or grilled cheese sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are broccoli with dip, glazed carrots, orange smiles, applesauce.

Tuesday: Macaroni and cheese with garlic bread stick; chef salad with Goldfish; or hummus dipper box. Veggie/fruit choices are garden salad, black beans, fresh melon, mixed fruit cup.

Wednesday: Turkey pot roast with yellow rice; or cheese quesadilla. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/carrots with dip, mashed potatoes, apple slices, fruit cup.

Thursday: Ravioli with garlic bread stick; tuna fishwich; or yogurt dipper box. Veggie/fruit choices are "Popeye" salad, garlic green beans, seasonal fresh fruit, strawberry peaches.

Friday: Personal pizza (cheese or pepperoni); or cafe sub. Veggie/fruit choices are carrots with dip, sweet corn, red grapes, raisins.

Middle and high school breakfasts

Secondary breakfasts feature a main item plus a choice of low-fat milk, and a choice of a fresh fruit or 100 percent fruit juice. Choices include:

Hot'n Stacked Pack: Muffins, waffles, pancakes, French toast or other traditional breakfast favorites.

Lite'n Healthy Pack: Yogurt fruit parfaits, low-fat yogurt cups or smoothies.

Grain'n Eat It Pack: A variety of whole-grain cereals.

Snack'n Go Pack: A snack-like choice.

Grab'n Go Pack: A hot breakfast sandwich or other meal students can eat "on the go."

Middle and high school lunches

All middle school lunches include an entree, a milk choice, a fruit choice (including 100 percent fruit juice), and a choice of any two vegetable options. All high school lunches include an entree, a milk choice, and a choice of any two vegetable options (including 100 percent fruit juice).

Middle school lunches

Monday: $2.50 menu: PBJ sandwich or hummus combo. $3 menu: Grilled chicken Caesar salad; vegetarian entree salad; turkey pot roast with rice; or fresh baked pizza. Veggie/fruit choices are cucumber dipper, sweet potato puffs, orange smiles, applesauce cup.

Tuesday: $2.50 menu: Italian deli "flatz" or "just plain nutty" combo. $3 menu: Chef salad; vegetarian entree salad; chicken nuggets with roll; meatball sub; or tuna fishwich. Veggie/fruit choices are garden side salad, potato smiles, melon, mixed fruit cup.

Wednesday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or "Moo Over" fruit parfait. $3 menu: Chicken BLT salad; vegetarian entree salad; nachos; or Italian dunkers with marinara. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/carrot dipper, black beans, fresh sliced apples, pearsauce.

Thursday: $2.50 menu: Italian piccolo sub or "lean machine" combo. $3 menu: Chef salad; vegetarian entree salad; turkey burger; or pasta with marinara or meatsauce with breadstick. Veggie/fruit choices are "Popeye" side salad, garlic butter green beans, seasonal fresh fruit, peach/strawberry cup.

Friday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or French market combo. $3 menu: Chicken taco salad; vegetarian entree salad; chicken sandwich (breaded or grilled); or fish sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are fresh baby carrots, sweet corn, grapes, raisins.

High school lunches

Monday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or hummus combo. $3 menu: Grilled chicken Caesar salad; vegetarian garden salad; fresh baked pizza; "Backyard" burger; or cheeseburger sliders. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/carrot dipper, garlic butter green beans, orange smiles, applesauce cup.

Tuesday: $2.50 menu: Cafe sub or "just plain nutty" combo. $3 menu: Mediterranean salad; vegetarian garden salad; chicken sandwich (breaded or grilled); or turkey and gravy with or without stuffing. Veggie/fruit choices are garden side salad, mashed potatoes, fresh melon, mixed fruit cup.

Wednesday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or "Moo Over" fruit parfait. $3 menu: Chicken BLT salad; vegetarian garden salad; nachos; barbecue rib sandwich; or fajita wrap. Veggie/fruit choices are cucumber dipper, cross-cut sweet potato, fresh apple slices, pearsauce.

Thursday: $2.50 menu: Italian piccolo sub or "lean machine" combo. $3 menu: Grilled chicken Caesar salad; vegetarian garden salad; "Backyard" burger/cheeseburger; or lasagna with breadstick. Veggie/fruit choices are "Popeye" side salad, baked beans, fresh kumquats, peach cup.

Friday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or French market combo. $3 menu: Chicken taco salad; vegetarian garden salad; chicken tenders with or without yellow rice; or fish sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are fresh baby carrots, roasted red potato halves, grapes, raisins.
