TAMPA — Jacksonville-based Southeastern Grocers, parent company of Winn-Dixie, is opening a new Harveys Supermarket in Tampa Wednesday. Two other locations will also open then in Lakeland.

"Harveys Supermarket has thrived over the past year, and we continue to receive an overwhelmingly positive response from our customers," Anthony Hucker, CEO of Southeastern Grocers, said in a release.

According to Southeastern Grocers, the first 500 customers to visit each new location will receive a gift card between $5 and $500.

The new store, located at 7851 Palm River Rd., is the second Tampa location for the chain. The first location on East Hillsborough Avenue opened three months ago.

There are 80 Harveys locations in the southeastern U.S.
