Saturday is Veterans Day, and that means holiday hours for many businesses and government agencies.

Some agencies, courts and libraries are closed in advance on Friday.

Post offices will be open Friday, but closed Saturday for the holiday. Most banks, including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase and Citibank, will remain open Friday and close Saturday. Stock markets will also remain open for normal hours Friday.

Veterans and active military with valid ID can also find a number of free meals and discounts at participating restaurants and businesses. Applebee's, Bar Louie, Bob Evans, Buffalo Wild Wings and California Pizza Kitchen are among dozens of restaurants offering Veterans Day deals.
