•The eighth annual Suncoast Arts Fest will be Jan. 19-20 at the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. More than 145 artists and 100,000 patrons are expected to attend this event featuring exhibits, hands-on activities and live entertainment. Proceeds benefit local youth arts programs for kids, student and teacher scholarships and classroom grants. The event also features a Family Fun Run at 9 a.m. Jan. 20. Free T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by Monday. Pre-registration is $20; late registration by Jan. 19 is $25. College bound

• Applications are available through Monday for the Pasco Education Foundation Inc. 2013 Scholarship Opportunities for Graduating Seniors. Apply at www.pascoeducationfoundation.org.

The Thursday Musicale, a women's choral group formed to promote music in Pasco and Hernando counties, offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to study music in college and make it a career. Deadline to apply is Jan. 18, with auditions on Jan. 29 at Living Word Church, New Port Richey. Contact the high school career counselor and/or music director for applications. Call (727) 807-3023.

• Pasco students are invited to apply for The Right Fit Foundation's $5,000 scholarship. Students must be a U.S. citizen and have a weighted high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must also attend one of the foundation's free college admission and financial aid classes. Visit www.theright fitfoundation.org. Deadline is Jan. 15. Winner will be notified March 15.

• Friday is the deadline to register for the ACT to be administered Feb. 9. Late registration (with fees) is Jan. 18. Go to www.actstudent.org.
