Lunch bunch enjoys celebration:

The Spring Hill Lunch Bunch met for its monthly luncheon on March 9 at Rookies Sports Bar and Grill in Spring Hill. The group celebrated the 87th birthday of member Joe Seyfried. Members also said farewell to two members, Jean and Bill Shute, as they return home to Canada until November. Attending the March gathering were: Joe and Kathleen Seyfried, Al Jablonsky, Bill and Jean Shute, Mary Kite, Ron and Ruth Barrett, Walter and Charlotte Freitas, Jack Puleo, Evelyn Heist.

    DADE CITY — SunWest Park, Pasco's first privately operated public park, will remain in private hands, county commissioners decided Tuesday.

    Pasco commissioners said they wanted SunWest Park Inc CEO Patrick Panakos to continue to operate the county-owned SunWest Park.

    TAMPA — A 68-year-old Tampa man was arrested on Tuesday and faces charges of 21 counts of unlawful sexual activity with a 17-year-old girl.

    Charles Wayne Logan, of 6440 Willow Wood Ln in Tampa, was arrested on Tuesday and faces charges of 21 counts of unlawful sexual activity with a 17-year-old girl, the sheriff's office said. [Hillsborough Cty Sheriff's Office]
