TAMPA — University of South Florida nursing student Ashley Ramsey has been named Miss Tampa 2013.

The 23-year-old senior was crowned Saturday night at the Busch Gardens Moroccan Palace Theater by outgoing Miss Tampa Olivia Stacey, a pageant spokesman said.

Ramsey will receive a $5,000 scholarship. No stranger to pageants, Ramsey served as Miss Zephyrhills 2009.
