The new CEO of the Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative will be a longtime manager from the city of St. Louis' homeless services division.
Antoinette Hayes-Triplett has accepted an offer to move and take over the organization that coordinates local efforts to combat homelessness.
The hire was confirmed by Hillsborough County Administrator Mike Merrill, who is a board member for the homeless initiative.
Hayes-Triplett replaces Maria Barcus, who is retiring in August after less than two years on the job. Hayes-Triplett will earn $135,000 per year. She is bringing her deputy in St. Louis, Antonio Byrd, with her. Byrd will make $85,000 per year.
