    NEW PORT RICHEY — Two months ago, Pasco commissioners agreed that growers and dispensers of medical marijuana could operate in the county, they just couldn't decide how many should be allowed to do so.

    Pasco County staffers recommended two dispensers based on the number of qualified patients in the county, and commissioners agreed unanimously.     Woman’s Club assists community: Over the past couple of months, the Dade City Woman’s Club has supported the Boys and Girls Club of Lacoochee. In December, Woman’s Club members donated 101 pairs of shoes to children in the Boys and Girls Club. Then, after receiving a special request from a local family with five children, the women provided shoes for them as well. Most recently, the club held a Build-a-Bear social at the Build-a-Bear Workshop at the Shops at Wiregrass. Members purchased and built 44 bears to donate to Circuit Judge Lynn Tepper to benefit children in the family court system. Children who are adopted out of foster care receive a bear to take to their forever home.
