Adventure Island, Legoland water park closed by Tropical Storm Emily

Tropical Storm Emily shut down some summer activities Monday, including many athletic fields and the water parks at Legoland and Adventure Island.

Legoland closed its water park Monday and told guests to "visit our ticket windows or email LLF.Experience@LEGOLAND.com," for more information. The rest of the theme park is open until 6 p.m.

Tampa's Adventure Island water park is closed, but Busch Gardens remained open.

Derby Lane announced on its website live racing is cancelled for Monday. But poker and simulcasting will remain open for normal business hours.

All classes at Gulfport's Multipurpose Senior Center scheduled for Monday have been cancelled including the Gulfport Extended Minibus Service program.

All Sarasota and Charlotte county athletic fields and pools closed.

At Everglades National Park, the Shark Valley Tram Tours were closed, and park reported on Twitter that the Gulf Coast Visitor Center has no power.
