Pony joins Globetrotter to show off his HORSE skills

If you were a Harlem Globetrotter, would you rather be in North Korea with Dennis Rodman or in Tampa with Amos the basketball-shooting horse?

Wait, don't answer that. But do look at this adorable video of the little pony playing its own version of the game of HORSE.

Amos was a surprise guest with Globetrotters star Special K Daley at an antibullying assembly Wednesday morning at Bayshore Christian School, 3909 S MacDill Ave. in Tampa.

Special K was presenting the team's "ABCs of Bullying Prevention" to nearly 200 Tampa kids. The initials stand for action, bravery and compassion to combat bullying.

Special K, a native of Panama, is in Tampa in advance of the Globetrotters game at the USF Sun Dome on Saturday at 7 p.m. (Tickets are available at harlemglobetrotters.com.)

According to a news release about the assemble, the Globetrotters will present the anti-bullying program to 400 schools this year around the country. Amos, who submitted a video to a HORSE competition hosted by the Globetrotters, is known for his therapy work with youth throughout South Florida.

An air compressor did most of the talking as the small crew stapled down flooring to the stage. A master carpenter kept unskilled but eager workers on track, telling them where to line up edges. An astringent smell of glue permeated the set of A Raisin in the Sun, opening Jan. 26 at American …
