PULLING STRINGS: Lindsey Stirling

Dubstep violist Lindsey Stirling shot to fame as a quarter-finalist on America's Got Talent in 2010 and she has been rocking the spangles on Dancing With the Stars this season as the last woman left . But on Friday you can see the musical creativity that brought the YouTube star more than 10 million subscribers. With her cinematic approach to electronic dance music, the multi-talented violin virtuoso mixes her string skills with dance in high-energy videos that made her the highest-ranked woman on YouTube. Her 2012 debut album Shatter Me ranked No. 1 on Billboard's year-end classical chart and No. 2 on its Dance/Electronic Music Chart. COMEDY: Faizon Love

After his breakout role as Big Worm the menacing drug dealer in the movie Friday, comic and actor Faizon Love had a memorable performance as the grumpy department store manager on Elf, portrayed record producer Maurice Starr on BET's The New Edition Story and appeared as a childhood friend from Compton on ABC's comedy Black-ish. He'll be bringing his serious stand-up chops to the Tampa Improv with shows at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday, 7:30 and 10 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday. $20. 1600 E Eighth Ave., Tampa. (813) 864-4000.

EYE OF THE TIGER: Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood Live

The interactive musical Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood Live will bring the popular PBS Kids show to the Mahaffey Theater stage on Friday. A spinoff of the beloved Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Daniel is the son of the meek worrywart tiger from Fred Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Daniel and his friends will hop aboard the trolley in this all-new live show with new songs, dance performances and an adventure. Audiences will be invited to sing and dance along with Daniel, as well as "O" the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday, Mom and Dad Tiger. 6 p.m. Friday.
